Day #34 – Rahr & Sons Stormcloud IPA

February 4, 2011

On the road again so it will be a short rating today. Pictures to follow at some point.

Rahr & Sons Stormcloud IPA

Rahr is based out of Fort Worth, TX and this is the second beer I’ve reviewed from them.

The pour is a hazy orangish color. It pours with a tall foamy white head too.

The aroma is of soft hops. Some spice but extremely light. Decorative soap notes are also present.

Flavor is similar. Lots of bitter flavors and hoppy notes. Also has a slight sense of veggies. Not bad but a bit subdued for an IPA.
